  1. Prove that you’re referable. A referral is sending someone that you care about, to someone that you respect. Have you shown yourself to be worthy?
  2. Give someone a reason to give to you. If you find a way to contribute to their bottom line, they’ll be looking out for you too!
  3. Be memorable and be educational. No matter what business you’re in, it is competitive out there. Others are looking for the same referrals you are. Find a way to stand out from the crowd. Being unique isn’t enough if your business community doesn’t know everything you do. Make sure you educate your fellow business owners about your complete skill set; make specific requests.
  4. Maintain your relationships. What we see the most is remembered first. By maintaining a meaningful relationship with your business community, they will remember to refer to you.

What do I get for joining?

All members have access to the MYNK website where you will be able to contact other members, send referrals, receive referrals and more. You will also be able to attend our face-to-face meetings to meet the members. MYNK also offers the use of our trade show booth to members and we pay the booth fee at the event.

How much is it to join?

You can join for $9.95 a month or pay $110 for the year. It’s extremely affordable and we put your fees back into MYNK to help promote all our members.

We do also offer a web only plan. It gives you access to all of the website’s features but none of the face-to-face features. The web only plan is $4.95 a month or $55 for the year.

Are there any perks to inviting friends?

Of course! In your account dashboard you will have a link you can give to other people interested in joining. For each person who joins using your invite link, you will receive 1,000 points and also get one month free.

What are these points?

Points are a form of currency here. As you interact with the website and network with other members you will receive points. Those points can be redeemed for perks and benefits.

Are there any limits on how many professions in an area?

Current, no. We will be working on creating smaller local groups run by members. For now, there is no limits on how many of a given profession may join.

My business profession isn’t listed. What should I do?

Please contact us and let us know what your profession is and we will add it to our listings. If you’re joining then choose a profession close to your own and once we add in your requested profession we will let you know and you can update your zone to use it.

What are zones?

A zone is a location for your business. It doesn’t have to be a physical location for your business either, just where you conduct business. You are able to add multiple zones as well and with each zone you select your profession, which is great for those of us who wear many hats.
